Can you use a pet playpen as a bunny cage?

i figure if i buy a sturdy one it can act as a big cage? Would that be ok? i would have a mat under it and spread newspaper or that foamy stuff yeah..idk. please help 10 pts BA

ok yeah obviously i will put a little thing for privacy i dont want to stuff my rabbit in a small cage , ill put toys in there and stuff!!

    i am afraid that you can not use that as a bunny cage for your rabbit because they need privacy a bit of space where they can hide away also they will use it as there sleeping room. as i have two rabbits and they sometimes need a lot of privacy also it will keep them warm even if its a house rabbit or outside

    Ok the first 2 answers have no idea what they are talking about. Most house rabbits I know are housed in puppy playpens (x-pen) they are 4′ long and 4′ wide and I use 36" high ones so they can’t jump out. They LOVE it rabbits don’t like to be crammed into tiny store cages.

    A single small rabbit should have a minimum of 2’x2′ and enough head room to stand up on their back feet and not touch the ceiling.
